Michael BennettHaving worked with his father in the family business in Stradbally, Co. Laois, Michael Bennett always dreamed of starting his own business, which was realised in 1975 when he founded Athy Steel Products Ltd.
Starting in a small shed at the back of his house, Michael gradually gained a reputation for high quality solutions while at the same time be able to suit his clients budgets.
Within 10 years Michael had bought a 3-acre site just on the outskirts of Athy Town where he build a 570 square meter workshop facility.
Michael's two sons, Gary and Ian both completed their apprenticeships in Athy Steel Products and hope to build upon the reputation that their father worked hard achieve.
